Day 78

Scheduled: 20-22 miles

I only ran 6.1 miles (really I cannot remember) and walked after that for 15 mins. I was in Las Vegas and since I had decided to take it light this week, I did not want to run too much. My knee was in some pain but I was able to keep going. I might have been able to keep going but I really wanted to save my knee for the marathon. I need to let my body rest more. It felt good to get a decent run in though because I needed to know that I could do it and I missed the energy and confidence it gives me.

I lifted weights after. I worked out in the hotel gym and it was an amazing area. It was beautiful and everyone was so kind and wanting to make sure you had everything you needed, etc. I just felt great when I left.
