The evidence that I worked my knee too much yesterday was obvious with this run. It hurt pretty much from the beginning and it is still hurting to walk now. I was not sure I would want to finish but again, I pushed. My goal today was 3.5 miles and when I got to 3 I thought that was good enough but I really just wanted to accomplis the 3.5 miles so I kept going. I did enjoy the run but was pretty tired during most of it. I lifted weights again and as always it made me HAPPY! There is something about lifting weights that makes me feel like I am pushing away all my troubles and it gets my frustrations out. Maybe it is just exercise but I love how I feel mentally when I get done working out.
